At a recent visit to Longreach I spent the day at the QANTAS Founders Museum, quite an astonishing place with a superb collection of QANTAS history, including several complete airliners. One such is Boeing 747-200 VH-EBQ. One of the options when you visit is a 'wing walk', where, thethered and harnessed, you get to go out on the Jumbo's wing. While it's not as exciting as something like a bridge climb, it is a rare opportunity worth doing.
